| Description: | Rebecca Peragine has partnered with PEACE for a gallery exhibit in Isla Mujeres, Mexico on Friday, January 16th, 2008. The event will be held downtown at Casa Sirena from 6-10pm. This event is very special, as Rebecca will donate half of her proceeds to help fund PEACE's work. What makes this event extra special is that for the first time ever, Rebecca is opening her gallery night to the world by making available her limited edition prints to everyone, everywhere. These limited editions are a very exclusive, small run of 100, printed on 8x10 archival photo paper and signed and numbered on the back. This opportunity is open to the global public now, but only until reproductions last! So, if your a fan of PEACE, or a fan of Rebecca's work, or a fan of helping those in need, please show your support!

| Outcome: | The Art Show was a wonderful success! On Friday January 16th, PEACE Isla Mujeres and Casa Sirena hosted an art show fundraiser featuring artist, Rebecca Peragine. It was a wonderful evening at Casa Sirena, with beautiful art and great people. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped out with the show! Because of your support, we raised over $8,300pesos in art sales to put towards our continuing work in the community.
The remaining original pieces from Rebecca's special PEACE collection, "Iconic Isla", are still available for purchase. Presently you can find them in the new PEACE office downtown. You can also view and order limited edition prints at www.printpatternpaper.com. As with the event, 50% of the proceeds will come to PEACE. |
